Professional Background

Dr. Joseph "Joe" Hamilton joined the Chapin Rehab family in June 2025. He received his Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science from The Citadel in May 2020. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in May 2025. Joe's clinical interests include athletic and recreational injuries, strength and conditioning, injury prevention, shoulder injuries, knee and hip dysfunction, low back pain, balance training, and evidence-based research. He is a SC board certified Doctor of Physical Therapy pursuing his certification in Dry Needling, certification in Spinal Manipulation, and his Orthopedic Specialist Certification. Fun fact, Joe completed one of his clinical rotations at CRC back in 2023.

Personal

Joe is originally from Greenville, SC, and he currently resides in Prosperity. Joe's hobbies include hunting, fishing, golfing and eating ribeye steaks. Joe is currently engaged to his Physical Therapy school sweetheart. Joe and his fiancé, Kristen, enjoy trips to Charleston, hanging out with family and friends, and competitive cornhole games.
