Christin Joined the Chapin Rehabilitation Clinic staff in February of 2010!  She attended Midlands Technical College and earned her PTA degree in 2009. Her therapy interests include joint replacements and sports rehabilitation.


Personal 

Christin grew up in Little Mountain, SC and graduated from Chapin High School.  In her free time she enjoys working out, playing music bingo, and training/riding horses!

Breanne Joined the CRC family in February of 2009! She graduated from Midlands Technical College in December of 2008 with an associates degree in Health Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant.  Her clinical interests include post operative rehabilitation of shoulders

and knees.


Personal

Breanne grew up in Chapin, SC and now resides in Irmo with her husband Jeremy and beautiful daughter, Aubree.  Breanne enjoys being a mother and spending time with family and friends.  She also enjoys following the Clemson Tigers.

Professional 

Tommy attended Newberry College in 2002, to play baseball and pursue his degree as a PTA. He graduated from Trident Technical College in 2006 and began working at a PTA. In 2015, Tommy and his family relocated from Aiken, SC and he began working at Chapin Rehab. Tommy has a special interest in sports rehabilitation, especially baseball and golf.  Tommy has earned his Titleist Performance Institute Certification which makes him specialized in the examination of limitations of strength and mobility that may limit golf performance. 


Personal

Tommy and his wife, Paula, have one beautiful daughter, Adysen.  He is a die-hard Clemson Tiger fan.  Tommy also enjoys baseball, golfing with Adysen and spending time with his family and friends.

Professional

Dr. Matt Whitaker joined the CRC family in 2019.  He has worked for Newberry Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Clinic (our sister company) since 2008.  He received his B.S. in Exercise Science: Motor Development from the University of South Carolina in 2004 and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008. Matt's clinical interests include spinal instability, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), balance/vestibular dysfunction, manual therapy, and evidence based research. He is a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy, mastered levels I and II of Spinal Manipulation Institute, and is certified in Dry NeedlingHe is currently working on certification for LSVT BIG for Parkinson's patients.


Personal 

Matt and his family reside in Chapin.  Matt's hobbies include running, fishing, hiking, and camping. He enjoys spending time with his wife Rachael and his two sons, Grafton and Rhett.

Caleen Hawkins, DPT

Professional

Caleen Hawkins has been part of CRC family since 2018.   After her completion of a two month residency at Newberry Physical Therapy and working 1 year at NPT, she is excited to be at CRC full-time. She received her B.S. in Biology from Claflin University in 2015 and graduated from Methodist University (Fayetteville, NC) with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. Caleen is currently certified in upper extremity dry needling and her clinical interests include sports medicine, chronic pain, and health & wellness.


Personal 

Caleen loves God, mentoring the youth, volleyball and spending time with family. She volunteers with the young adult and youth ministry at her church and coaches volleyball when time permits.
